The European Parliament’s activity was blocked on Tuesday after about 50 Kurds forced the security cordons and took refuge on the third floor of the building.

The protesters are asking to speak with the European Parliament’s President, Martin Schulz. According to the European Parliament’s adviser, Oana Florea, the inscident sparked panic and a woman fainted, Antena 3 informed.

Europarliamentarian Norica Nicolai declared, during a telephone conversation at Antena 3, that the European Parliament’s office was not the only one targeted. They also tried to do the same in the Brussels Airport.
