Stray dogs taken off the streets are hit with shovels and boots by the caretakers.
Outrageous images with stray dogs being tortured, beaten with shovels or stomped by their caretakers in the public shelters of Dej city (Romania) were recorded with a camcorder last month by the animal protection agency, Anima Pro Terra.
The video shows the nightmare-like reality within a shelter paid for with public money, where the law for the management of the dogs and the animal protection laws are fragrantly violated.

VIER PFOTEN (FOUR PAWS) and the Anima Pro Terra associations will submit a criminal complaint against the carers and the managers of the shelter for mistreating the animals and stealing their food.
