Covid-19: Vaccination bus starts operating in Bucharest

In order for more people to get their vaccine done, a bus of the Bucharest Public Transport Company (STB) has been converted into a Covid-19 vaccination on Saturday. The caravan will run in the city until the end of the year.

The people that want to get their shot done, can receive the vaccine by showing their ID card, without having to make an appointment on the vaccination platform.

The vaccine used is the single-dose Johnson&Johnson one and it is recommended for those over 18.

The project was initiated by the Bucharest City Hall, through the Administration of the Bucharest Hospitals, in partnership with retailer Kaufland.

The caravan will stop every weekend in the parking lot of one of the retailer’s stores in the city and the people can get their vaccine done between 10:00 – 17:00.

The vaccination team from the caravan is formed of medical personnel from The Administration of the Bucharest Hospitals.
