According to the MTI agency, a similar trip to that of the legendary Orient Express will run starting this fall from Budapest to Teheran, via Istanbul.

Gyorgy Zarand, sales director of the state railway company MAV-Start, told a tabloid that the luxury train will use a steam locomotive, and that the trip will last for two weeks.

The train will be made available by the MAV-Start company, and the tickets will be sold by an agency in the UK.

The original version of the Orient Express traveled from Paris to Istanbul between 1883 and 1977.

Today, The Luxury Trains Company offers another trip similar to the Orient Express, once every year, at the cost of  5.700 £ for a seat in a compartment for two. The train has stops in Sinaia and Bucharest.
