The earthquake took place in the Chinese province of Yunnan
Tuesday afternoon, a 5.8 degrees magnitude earthquake occurred in the Chinese province of Yunnan, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake happened at 21.49 local time, at a 5.6km depth.
The epicenter of the quake was 19km south-west of the Weiyuan City, 160km north of Jinghong and 220km south-west of Longquan.
